This park is now under
development. There are about 12.6 acres. I bought the
property with the intention of doing most of the work
myself. However, I was diagnosed with a form of muscular
dystrophy about 4 years ago and find myself unable to keep
up with the physical work necessary. Just cutting 12 acres
of grass is an issue for me, even with good equipment.
I'm 65 years old, and on long-term disability.
My first choice would be to have a hand-on working partner
to help me complete my dream of an affordable retirement
community. I live on-site, this is my permanent
address.
I will owner-finance either a complete sale ($295,000) or a
half-interest partner ($150,000) after 10% down payment.
Your good credit rating will be important.
There are 16 sites completely developed, and another 10
sites partially developed. This leaves about 6 acres
undeveloped. All utilities are underground, city
sewage (no septic tanks). There are 7 older mobile
homes in place which I am in the process of re-habbing.
There are currently no tenants and no income.
I'm leaning toward building a-frames or log cabins rather
than mobile homes. This is subject to change. Right now I am
concentrating on cleaning up the property.
The property is within commuting distance of most of
Atlanta. I bought the property while I was on a
computer consulting contract, and commuted for 3 years I was
on contract.
I'm working on the website, and should have it up in a month
or so. The domain name is
www.QuietLiving.net.
