Globe is approximately one hour east of Phoenix with an elevation of 4200 feet, and is cooler than Phoenix. It is a beautiful up on the new four lane completed almost to Superior. There is a proposed off ramp for the park when the new highway is completed to #77. When you drive into Globe you will See the new Wall-Mart, Safeway and Frys, and other small business.

Globe has several major chain motels. On the east side there is a new Ace Hardware and a large housing development targeted at retires. Ten miles ease of globe is the Casino and the airport. Globe currently has a very low vacancy factor due to the influx of retires and the high price of copper.

The park is located 3 miles from downtown Globe. There are many beautiful mature shade trees in the park, most of the streets are paved.
